about

Ross McMillan has recorded under many different aliases
over the past 15 years. Although this is technically his
sixth album, its the first time he has used his real name.
Previous records on labels like Ornaments and the
Parisian label Skylax as well as working with Niko Marks
gave his listeners a glimpse to another side of his
productions and skills.
The album itself is a reflection of the journey Ross has
made moving from Scotland to France in 2013. He wrote
the album on arrival which took a year to finish as he was
working on many other projects.
Most of the album is played with a multitude of different
synths, keys and machines. Detroit soul artist Niko Marks
guests on a few tracks too, Ross mentions he "felt it
necessary" to include "Red & White paint" in this album as
he believes its relevant to the albums story.
The album is intended for home or lounge listening, So if
your cooking a nice meal or having a special person over,
or maybe your going a road trip, then this maybe just the
ticket.
